The mechanical behavior of the porous zirconia with different morphology of the porosity was analyzed. It was found that the ceramic with the higher porosity had the more complex of loading curves. It was also found that the ceramic of porosity higher than 20%, the curve take the form of several linear segments. The results show that zirconia ceramics can be substitution of bone defects on the base of combination of its hardness, biological passivity and ability to from bioactive porous composites with hydroxyapatite.
