Аннотация

The article describes the ultrasonic level gauge of light oil. The principle of error compensation caused by instability of propagation conditions due to the presence of a temperature gradient and density along the propagation path of an ultrasonic wave is presented. The acoustic path of the level gauge is described and includes three channels: A measuring channel, a reference channel and a channel for measuring the bottom water level. The use of data from the reference channel made it possible to obtain high metrological characteristics over a wide range of temperatures and to exclude dependence on changes in the density of light oil products.
