Аннотация

Gold accumulates in residual magmas and fluids. Two periods of formation of volcanogenic and comagmatic intrusive gabbroids and granitoids having elevated mean Au contents have been identified: in the Late Paleozoic and Mesozoic-Cenozoic epochs of crustal volcanic-belt emplacement. A general tendency for an undulatory variation in the mean contents in granitoids as a function of age is defined, with maximum accumulation in differentiation products in the Cenozoic epoch. In most folded belts of various ages, there is a general tendency for the Au levels to decrease in intrusive gabbroids and granitoids. Extensive albitization in basaltoids, which occurs widely in effusives in volcanic belts of various ages, is accompanied by the redistribution and loss of Au from the zones of extensive metasomatism.-from Journal summary
