Выдержка

Purpose of the present work was to perform experimental study of 123 beta-methyl iodophenyl pentadecanoic acid pharmacokinetics and its suitability for estimation of myocardium metabolism. Dynamics distribution of 123I-BMIPP was studied on white male rats. Radiometry of internal organs was performed at gamma-spectrometer at minutes 5, 15, 30, 60, 120, 180, 360 after injection of 123I-BMIPP. Acute myocardium ischemia was induced in rats using 24-hours coronary occlusion. Intravenous administration of 2.5 MBq/kg 123I-BMIPP solution was performed 30 minutes before heart extraction. An opportunity of 123I-BMIPP application for cardiac imaging was studied in 5 rabbits. All images were performed using 'Omega 500' gamma camera. Since the first minutes after radiopharmaceutical administration the high accumulation of 123I-BMIPP in myocardium and liver was noted. Maximal accumulation of radiopharmaceutical in heart was observed at the 5th and in the 30th minutes of the experiment (5.7%; 5.1%). This fact points on the basic opportunity of qualitative scintigraphic imaging of cardiac muscle. The best time for scintigram recording was minute 30, when accumulation of radiopharmaceutical in lungs has corresponded to the level of background.
