Аннотация
Using X-ray structure analysis, transmission electron microscopy/diffraction and light microscopy the influence of ultrasonic treatment on structure and phase transformations in medium carbon martensitic steels after ″noncomplete″ and full tempering were studied. The effect of structure fragmentation was found after the ultrasonic treatment. There are several ways for the carbides transformations: the cementite particles refining and growth and the partial replacement of cementite with special carbide phases. Carbon transport from solid solution to dislocations and than to carbides particles was shown to take place. The features of this process depend on the initial steel structure. The carbides subsystem transformations are connected with the substructure state.
