Аннотация

Using TEM and optical metallography analysis, a 18Cr-10Ni 12Kh18N10T austenitic steel has been investigated. It was established that after ultrasound treatment of steel a liquation heterogeneity decreasing and dynamic recrystallization in surface layers took place. An average size of grains and number of twinned grain boundaries decrease in this case. A general type grain boundaries are predominate in grain boundary ensemble. Polymorph transformation with formation of ε-martensite crystals occurs in austenitic grains with the size of 3 μm or more. Carbide phase precipitations size, especially Cr23C6, is decreased. Amplitude of curvature-torsion of austenitic crystalline lattice and value of scalar dislocation density are increased. As a result. microhardness of steel surface layers is increased.
