Аннотация

In a given work, the coatings based on chromium and tungsten carbides are fabricated by methods of electron-beam surfacing of low-carbon steel in electron accelerator and then treated with low-energy pulsed electron beam to produce ultradispersed and nano-dimensional structure. The structure and phase composition of coatings and layers of secondary pulsed treatment are investigated. The possibility of ultrasound velocity measuring in them is studied. The correlation of ultrasound velocity with structure, composition, and crystal imperfection of deposited coatings before and after pulsed electronbeam treatment is revealed.
