Аннотация

In this paper the movable-cellular-aulomata (MCA) method was applied to study the features of the fracture process and strength properties of ceramics specimen under different constraint conditions. Results of calculations showed that mechanism of fracture of ceramic materials is dependent on the surroundings or contact conditions. It is demonstrated that the MCA method has been successfully used for modeling fracture of the different types of materials and structures.
