Role of internal stress fields at various stages of strain hardening

    Аннотация

    The role of stress fields in the evolution of the dislocation structure and organization of a dislocation ensemble at various stages of strain hardening is analyzed. Densities of defects responsible for the main contribution to the internal field of stresses at stages II, III, and IV of deformation have been measured experimentally. Electron microscopy was used to determine the amplitude of the internal field of stresses in various substructures and to estimate the contribution of elastic fields to the resistance to deformation.
