Аннотация

Processes of the interaction of oxygen atoms of the thermal energy with the surface of powder Y2O3-based luminophors have been studied. The effect of the fast diffusion migration of oxygen atoms into the bulk of Y2O3, where a significant amount of anion vacancies is contained, was found. The activation energy of diffusion input and output of atomic oxygen into/from Y2O3 is equal to (0.7±0.1) eV. The variation of the concentration of oxygen atoms in the bulk of Y2O3-Bi and other luminophors causes quenching of photoluminescence of these phosphors when they are oxygenated. This effect can be used for the development of sensitive selective oxygen sensors.
