Fourier analysis of thermal processes during dynamic thermal testing with usage of pulse and modulated thermal excitation is considered. It is shown that when testing carbon-plastic composite, the penetration depth of the thermal wave phase is more by 40-70% than for its amplitude module. The theoretical calibration dependences of the phase shift on the defect depth are obtained for carbon-plastic articles. Application of these dependences permit to synthesize the thermal phase tomograms.
