Аннотация
The process of suspending magnesium oxide power in water by high-voltage pulsed discharges was investigated. It was established that the dependence of the stability of the suspension on the number of pulsed discharges is similar to the 'precipitation rule' in peptization. The time of preparing an aggregately stable suspension is reduced by about 200 times in comparison with the mechanical method. The use of electric pulsed discharges for preparing suspensions does not lessen the insulating properties of coatings obtained by electrophoretic deposition.
