In this work, the results of an investigation into the characteristics of ceramic membranes with a filtration layer based on alumina nanofibers and nanoparticles supported on macroporous gas-permeable ceramics obtained from natural sources of Komi Republic are presented. The method of surface self-propagating thermosynthesis was applied to form a nanostructured catalytically active layer on the surface of membranes. It has been demonstrated that the high activity of the synthesized catalytic membranes is caused by the uniform distribution of a finely dispersed active component CuO-Co3O4-CeO2 on the surface. Carbon monoxide conversion was observed at lower temperatures when membranes modified by alumina nanofibers were used as catalyst supports.
