The authors studied the processes of positron annihilation in a zeolite matrix including the internal surface, the surface of NaM mordenite channels. Dehydrated NaM and Se-filled NaM, i.e., Se chains stabilized in the regular system of parallel channels of the mordenite matrix (M-Se) were the objects of study. The angular distributions of annihilation photons (ADAP) were measured. The changes in M-Se ADAP compared to NaM result from a zeolite matrix as a Ps source for large channel adsorbates. This situation in conjunction with Sex+ as a possible positronium-sensitive defect of the Se chain causes the enhanced sensitivity of the PA method.
