Аннотация

In order to test integrity of pallets used as package 8-channel ultrasound testing system was developed. The system allows to build 3D imaging of objects under control and determine geometrical dimensional defects of pallets in comparison with the norm. Resolution capability of testing system of geometrical sizes is 2 mm. Testing is performed by contactless method through air. Acoustic array is made from 16 transducers of MA40 type produced by MURATA, which operate in separate mode that allowed to reduce dead zone and locate the transducers in immediate vicinity from the object of control. Antenna array is fixed still and scanning is performed by moving the pallet. In order to increase precision of measurements there is temperature correction of propagation velocity that is embedded into the system. The temperature sensor produced by DALLAS is used for this purpose. System maintenance performed at Tomsk brewing company demonstrated high effectiveness in detecting defective pallets, eliminate production line idle standing which had been preciously caused by necessity to pack the products into suitable pallets.
