Аннотация

Methods of diffraction electron microscopy of thin foils are used to study layer by layer nickel subjected to electrical explosion alloying with boron. The formed structure is shown to have a pronounced gradient character induced by an in-depth change of boron concentration in the layer modified during surface treatment. As receding from the alloyed surface, the structure of the molten zone varies from the nano- to submicro- and macrocrystalline structure with different volume fractions and chemical phase composition.
