Аннотация
Phase content, defect structure and mechanical behavior of a Cu-Al-O ultrafine grained alloy, prepared by mechanical milling and subsequent high temperature pressing, were studied. The formation of a material with a complex hierarchy of structural components was observed. The obtained alloy is composed of the grains of a solid solution of Al in Cu, two-phase grains of Cu that contain particles of the Cu9Al4, CuAl2, α-Al2O3 and Cu2O phases, as well as particles of Cu2O and α-Al2O3 that are located along the boundaries of the primary and secondary grains. The evolution of mechanical characteristics and the structure of the alloy during deformation were analyzed.
