Investigation of backscattered radiation by a crystal clouds to bistatic polarization laser sounding

Аннотация

A process of light scattering by oriented plate to bistatic technique of sensing is investigated. A numerical model of scattering of the ice plate is developed for the identification of polydisperse media and definition of basic parameters on the data bistatic laser sounding of crystal clouds. The relations for the polarization characteristics and the sections of backscattering are received as combinations of Miller's matrix elements within the framework of a physical optics method. The numerical investigation of the submitted characteristics of backscattering is carried out at a given orientation of a crystal and condition of polarization of incident radiation for arbitrary angle scattering.
