Addition of tungsten and aluminum oxyhydroxide nanopowders to the weld pool has shown a positive effect on the structure of metal during arc gas welding with a consumable electrode. It has been shown that introducing the powders decreases the dendrite size and leads to the formation of a more equilibrium micr?structure.
