The aim of the paper is to study the mutual effects of a reaction in a solid phase and mechanical processes during ignition of explosive crystals (IEC). The study is fulfilled by means of an ignition model, based on the model of an anisotropic medium with damages. Examples of numerical solutions of the IEC problem for different particular cases are presented.
