Аннотация

The work is devoted to the study of the evolution of the anode spot during the burning act of a high-current vacuum arc. The evolution of the anode spot was recorded using a high-speed video camera at a speed of 180 000 frames per second and a high-speed 4-channel camera in which interference filters were installed to record the distribution of Cr I (428 nm), Cu II (625 nm) and Cr I + Cu II (500 nm). The arc was ignited between two CuCr electrodes with a diameter of 20 mm in a vacuum chamber simulating the operation of a vacuum circuit breaker by separation of contacts at a constant speed.
