Аннотация

Coal consumption in the world is growing rapidly, approaching oil consumption levels or even exceeding them in some states. Coal-fired power plants have a well-known negative impact on the humankind and environment. Coal processing produces a lot of high-Ash wastes. This study analyzed the possible prospects of using coal-water slurries with and without different industrial waste (e.g. coal processing waste, waste turbine oil, sawdust) instead of coal to produce energy with the optimal fuel consumption and minimum negative impact on the environment. Conditions and characteristics of slurry fuel combustion are identified providing high environmental, economic, and energy performance.
