    Аннотация

    Design of low-voltage spark gap of metal ceramics for operating voltage up to 20 kV to commutate heavy-current (up to 10 kA) short (<1 mks) pulses was described. Various methods of spark gap start were discussed. Results of measuring delay time and operation stability of the spark gap were presented. Results of experiments on parallel operation of siz spark gaps for general load were given. Prospects were marked for using the spark gaps for parallel commutation in low-inductive circuits for general load as an example of which active medium of excise laser could serve.
