Аннотация

The isotopic composition of sulfur in pyrite of a Carboniferous black shale sequence confirm the zonal distribution of various structural-morphological types of ores in the ore-metasomatic column developed in it. The ratios δ34S change systematically from positive values (+2 to +11.59%o) in the gold-quartz-vein upper ore horizons to near zero (+1.96 to +1.9%o) in the gold-quartz-stockwork middle horizons, and to negative values (−6.04 to −13.74%o) in the lower horizons of disseminated gold-sulfide ores. The isotope analyses made it possible to ascertain more precisely the level of erosional downcutting of various structural blocks of the ore field and to determine the range of vertical tectonic displacements.
