Effect of the compaction temperature on compactibility of titanium nickelide powder

Аннотация

Temperature and pressure of compaction of powders containing titanium nickelide are studied for their effect on the value of the elastic aftereffect, growth of compacts at the initial stage of sintering, on density of the sintered material. It is shown that compaction at the temperature above the starting temperature of the martensite transformation allows a considerable increase of the compaction of the sintered material as against compaction at room temperature. For this aim it is enough to increase compaction temperature to 200 °C.
