Аннотация

Results are presented of measuring the efficiency with which positrons are recorded by ring scintillation detectors with an outer diameter of the ring ranging from 130 to 400 mm. When the ring is inspected by two FEU-30 photomultipliers, followed by summation of the signals, efficiency of the detectors reaches 0. 96 and is independent of the spot at which the particles pass. The detector is designed for use in polarization experiments in recording secondary particles having small emission angles.
