Determination of mercury in water and alcoholic drinks by stripping voltammetry

    Аннотация

    A procedure is developed for determining mercury at concentrations equal to and lower than the maximum permissible concentration in various waters and drinks by stripping voltammetry with a gold-graphite electrode prepared in situ. The conditions for obtaining an analytical signal and for preparing a photochemical sample are optimized. The performance characteristics of the procedure are given. The determination of mercury in the above-mentioned materials can be carried out automatically by using a computerized voltammetric analyzer produced by the Tekhnoanalit Company, which provides photochemical preparation and simultaneous analysis of three samples.
