The paper deals with experimental studies into geometry of the plastic deformation in aluminium, including determination of the degree of crystallographic planes distortion, their orientation in space, stresses and the character of lattice accommodation under both small and large loads. Coarse (with area not less than 300 mm2) grains in the centre of the aluminium crystal plate produced by the method of high-temperature recrystallization annealing, were examined using the methods of diffraction X-ray radiography. The wave-like mechanism of crystallographic plane distortion in aluminium under loading conditions, which give an opportunity to realize the elasticity resource, is revealed.
