Аннотация

The current state of methods of production of radionuclide ¹²⁴I for nuclear medicine is analyzed. The review is focused on finding methods for enhancement of cyclotron production of the ¹²⁴I radionuclide. The influence of the chosen nuclear reactions, the irradiation conditions, the target material, and the methods of manufacturing and cooling of the irradiated targets on the radionuclide yield is considered.
