The paper analyzes the computational reproducibility of impedance behavior of a vacuum electron diode with a significant delay of emission current. The adjustable model of the vacuum electron diode simulates typical stages of real impedance curves with some minor errors. The diode model tests simulate an energy release with an error less than 6% in comparison with a real diode, thus making the computation of accelerator regimes feasible.
