The influence of superfine aluminum powders (SAP) on combustion properties and combustion products composition in air was experimentally studied at different pressure (atmospheric, reduced and raised one). It is shown that SAP agglomeration decreases SAP activity in non-isothermic oxidation in air. At normal and reduced pressure, the bound nitrogen concentration in combustion products of agglomerated powder is lower than in combustion products of non-agglomerated power. At raised pressure (> 120 kPa) the situation is inverse.
