N2 - In this paper we propose to use backward transition radiation in EUV region for micron and submicron beam diagnostics. We have carried out simulations of backward transition radiation characteristics in the EUV region for molybdenum target using two approaches. The simulation results show a good agreement for both approaches and are very promising for beam diagnostics purposes.
