The current interest to develop holistic well-being assessment scales has led to numerous approaches and toolkits of well-being evaluation and measurement, specifically, for the elderly population. This research work is an ongoing project aimed at the designing and development of the composite index to assess the elderly population well-being in Russia across all 85 Russian regions, or federal subjects acting as separate regions.
