Abstract
A possibility to use natural zeolites to produce ceramic pigments is studied. The isomorphism features of di- and trivalent cations in the zeolite lattice are analyzed. It is shown that the use of additives (alumina, wollastonite) allows to obtain pigments with anorthite and mullite structure. It is established that the use of natural zeolite results in reduction of synthesis temperature, cost reduction and widening of ceramic pigments colors spectrum.
