Abstract

The hydraulic activity of silicates has been proposed for suing as an informative parameter to estimate the suitability of natural silicates in binders technology. The peculiarities of solidification of mixed magnesia binders in the presence of natural silicates have been studied. The effect of silicate components on the formation of high mechanical strength and water resistance of a solidified binder has been established.
