Abstract

Optimum conditions are described for the determination of genotoxic 3-nitrofluoranthene (3-NF) and pendimethalin using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The limits of quantification (LQ) around 4·10-7 mol 1-1 were found for both 3-NF and pendimethalin. In addition, adsorptive stripping voltammetry was applied for determination of 3-NF with LQ around 3·10-8 mol 1-1. The practical applicability of newly developed methods was demonstrated on direct determination of pendimethalin in model samples of drinking water by DPV with LQ around 5·10-7 mol 1-1.
