Abstract
Voltammetric behavior of 3-aminofluoranthene in 50% (v/v) methanol-water solutions has been investigated applying differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV) at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and a carbon-paste electrode (CPE). Optimum conditions for determination of 3-aminofluorathnene in the concentration range 2 × 10-8 + 1 × 10-4 mol L-1 have been established. Lower limits of quantitation were found for AdSV at GCE as 4 × 10-7 mol L-1 and for AdSV at CPE as 2 × 10-8 mol L -1.
