Abstract
A design of a vertical two-chamber thermosyphon is proposed. The design makes it possible to condense vapor efficiently without preliminary removal of air from the system. Some data for the characteristics of a two-chamber thermosyphon for refrigerant R-113 and water have been obtained. The intensity of heat transfer in the annular clearance of the thermosyphon in condensation of a vapor-gas mixture and a pure vapor has been measured.
