Using of manganese-containing metallurgical wastes in production of electric insulating glass

Abstract

The possibility of using manganese-containing wastes of the Kemerovo metallurgical plant as a pigment for electric insulating glass was studied. It is established that the treatment of the wastes by magnetic separation method and changing in glass melting regime make it possible to use the manganese-containing wastes for obtaining stable coloration of glass.
