Comparative data are presented on the uncovering of mineral concretions during the crushing of fluorite ore by mechanical means and by electric pulse discharges in the liquid. The results cited confirm the advantages of using electric pulse discharges for ore crushing. It is established that under the action of electric discharges partial decomposition of the fluorite and calcite contained in the ore occurs, as well as the activation of calcite by fluorine ions. It is concluded that it is necessary to correct the scheme for the flotation of an ore crushed by electric discharges in accordance with the variation of the ion composition of the slurry and the variation of the activation of the mineral.
