Abstract

Reaction of 2‐ethynyl‐1‐methylpyrrole with oxygen in the presence of catalytic amounts of copper(I)chloride proceeds only upon addition of 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec‐7‐ene (DBU).
