Nonstationary modes of operation of evaporation-condensation devices were investigated. Data on the nonstationary heat exchange upon film condensation of the R-12 refrigerant vapor on a horizontal pipe were obtained. Calculation of the change in the heat exchange coefficient with time variations in the temperature of the saturated vapor agree satisfactorily with the experimental data.
