Ion-beam processing of treatment of parts from VT8M type vanadium alloy by power beam of nanosecond duration is proposed that allows to improve significantly a service properties such as fatigue strength, erosion and hot salt corrosion resistance. Effect of irradiation parameters and finish heat treatment on composition, structure and phase conditions of surface layers of samples from vanadium alloys have been studied.
