Topaz- and kaolinite-based ceramic pigments with mullite structure

Abstract

A possibility to produce ceramic pigments with mullite structure using natural minerals, kaolinite and topaz, was studied. It is established that these minerals are promising materials for ceramic pigment synthesis. It is noted that the resulting pigments show various colors and high-temperature resistance.
