Abstract
The effects of promoting tin-containing catalysts with alkaline-earth metals on the phase composition and the surface and catalytic properties of the samples under the conditions of oxidative dimerization of methane were studied. Catalysts with calcium oxide admixtures showed the highest selectivity. The catalytic properties of the samples were shown to be related to their basicity.
