Abstract

The chemical reduction of 4,4′-dinitrostilbene-2,2′-disulfonic acid with titanium(III) chloride, chromium(II) sulfate, and vanadium(II) sulfate and the polarographic reduction of 4,4′-dinitrostilbene-2,2′-disulfonic acid were studied. Conditions for analytical use of these reactions were found.
