The spatial-temporal and petrochemical criteria of relation of gold mineralization with deep magmatism

Abstract

An analysis was made of new material on the North Transbaykal region of the Aldan-Baykal-Sayan-Yenisey metallogenetic belt of activated pre-Palaeozoic folded structures in the southern frame of the Siberian platform. Data on other areas of the belt and many other regions, including those of the schist type, were also summarised. The study emphasised the close spatial and temporal relationships between gold mineralisation in a beresite formation and derivatives of deep magmatism. A new petrochemical criterion for the paragenetic connection between ore-formation and deep magmatism is suggested. -P.Cooke
