N2 - An indirect spectrophotometric determination of 10-50 μg of hydroquinone, p-amino-phenol, and Metol has been developed. The determination is based on the oxidation of these substances with the fluoride complex of trivalent manganese, the unreacted reagent being determined by the color reaction with o-tolidine.
