The method of high performance demagnetization of long-length cylindrical articles

Abstract

The method of demagnetization based on the usage of the constant magnetic field corrected according to the initial and residual article magnetizations measured during demagnetization is described. The advantage of this technical decision in comparison with the known is the possibility of qualitative demagnetization of the extended ferromagnetic articles of great section with high velocity and with small power consumption. In this article is shown structural scheme of the device realizing the suggested method and the diagram explaining its operation.
