The influence of thermal electric power station emissions on the atmosphere of the city

    Abstract

    Concentration of harmful substances in an atmosphere of Seversk town, in particular nitrogen oxides, is higher than maximum concentration limit. So, it is necessary to supervise the presence of the substances in the air and find out it's sources. Automatic station ACK3A-AM-62 is used for monitoring of atmosphere pollution. The station provides automatic measurement, processing, registration and transfer of measurement results of seven polluting substances concentration, four meteorological parameters and selection tests of a dust for the analysis of the metal content. Received parameters of the concentration of substances in the atmosphere and meteorological data are saved on a hard disk of the personal computer in a digital form, where they are worked up by a program. Using this program it is possible to carry out testing of primaries and calibration of devices. As a result of the analysis of station activity we can see the dependence of concentration NO2 upon a direction of a wind.
